  Yes, privacy is certainly an issue, whether we're talking about speed cameras, red light cameras, surveillance cameras or otherwise.

  Personally I don't see it exactly the same, knowing that I have little expectation of privacy in a public place. I do see them (the cameras) as incremental ratcheting down of our civil rights, further limitations on our abilities to move around not being watched. ”
