  Hi Mary, I got your note about the meetup at Mui's. This suggestion has been made a time or two before and I've decided to keep dinners at peoples' homes to keep the theme of the group consistent. As you know, there are other groups that do dinners out and I am hoping to keep Nourishing Supper set apart from those groups. I do have a couple future suppers in the works and they'll be up on the calendar soon! Thanks for your understanding :)

  I haven't contacted Cornish Pasty yet, I will do that next week. For the book club meetings I usually takes notes of interesting things in the book to bring up for discussion, and sometimes I look up a bit about the author to add to the conversation. Because I read the book last year but still remember it clearly, to add more to the discussion I'm reading Aunt Phillis's Cabin which was written shortly after as a response to Uncle Tom's Cabin from the opposing viewpoint.

  When I was there several times, I saw a big screen TV by the bar, and a few smaller ones around in th restaurant showing football. Yes, the restaurant just open in about 2 months I think
