“ Hi Steve, As I sat in traffic this morning I thought, "aren't people supposed to be on vacation and don't they know I have somewhere to be?" Clearly, they didn't get the memo . . . . As you cruise by on your bus into DC you can be sure I'm in one of the stopped cars that you are passing. I do get into DC occasionally from my office in Tysons. “ Good to know Ellie Mae is in good hands. I have to ask--were her parents Jed and Granny? Brother Jethro? I'd have a dog if I could, but with my schedule even a low maintenance pet would be at risk. Seriously. I had a pet rock in the 1980s . . . it was sad. I hiked along the C&O Canal today and am in the process tonight of gearing up for another week in the defense of our nation.
