  I wanted to find out if you've had a chance to talk with your friend about using her restaurant for meetups. Since I think that there might just be two or three of us for the first meetup, do you want to meet at my house for a nice potluck dinner sometime next week?

  “ Scott - One more thing. I hadn't scheduled a meetup, yet, but see that the Meetup web site scheduled one automatically. We probably should wait until we determine where we'll meet to be sure that they'll be able to accomodate us. However, I think it might be nice to meet monthly. Since you and I are the only members, what do you say we meet for a pot luck dinner on Wednesday or Thursday evenings? I'm thinking that some folks might have families and be busy on the weekends. ”

  Welcome to the group! I just created it last night and was glad to see your post. I relocated to the area in March and just started a vegan meal delivery service.

  Since I'm new to the area, do you have any ideas on a good vegetarian-friendly restaurant to have a first meeting - perhaps right after the new year? I'm thinking that Hickory might offer some options although Abbie Normal might be willing to do something special if we have enough people....
