Jack, I sent you my photo slide show with music and captions. I don't know how to post the slide show on the web. You maybe able to do it. Masayo
Can I bring a friend?
Hi Jack thank you so much for the update I will see how I feel I'm going on a limb to meet up with a group tonight if I survive it maybe a possibility for tomorrow. All depending on how I feel. If not I wish you all happy hiking!
Jack, we just moved from NYC where I was president of the Valley Stream Hiking Club. Am interested in the Blue Diamond hike. We live in Rhodes Ranch. Is there a place I could meet you besides the posted one? Liz Letzler [masked]
Good to read about you here and looking forward to meeting you.
I live at Wigwam Parkway and Green Valley. Is it better if i meet you at the trail-head and if so what address do i need to use?
Hi Jack, if I meet you at the trailhead where do I park?
Jack, I am so sorry I didn't attend the hike. I had it in my mind that is tomorrow. My loss.
Regarding trails at the visitor center most of them will be paved interpretive type trails. Another trail in the area is the Cliff Rose Trail which will eventually connect to the vc area. We are also working on the trails in the Telephone Canyon Area. I will let you know when new trails are coming on line.
Hey Jack, yes I am talking about the trail just below SR 156. You can reach it from the Sawmill Trailhead. The flooding really did a number on the trail in the canyon not too far down from the narrows section. but trail crews are working from the lower end up. I am going to head up and see how far they have built trail. The lower end of the trail comes out by the RAWS weather station at mm 7. We still have work to do in that section to pull the trail out of the center of the wash.
