  Thanks Glen for the welcome. The 64 yard sale sounds good to me. I did a short hike up Pinnacle yesterday and I now know that I am totally out of shape. Had surgery 6 weeks ago and didn't realize being down such a short period could make that big of a difference. But going to keep walking and hiking until I get all my energy back and maybe someday I will be able to keep up with your gang. One thing I have always wanted to do is Hangglide. Any ideas where to take lessons ?

  Hey there, I'm new to this group. Just getting into hiking so thought I would check you out. I am older than most but my mind is still very young. Probably not as active and adventurous as most of you but I'm up for trying anything once.

  I love the buffalo..and depending on what's going on, I have no problem driving extra miles for events else where in AR...kayaking is fun..I'll keep it in mind!

  Thanks for the greeting, Glen. I hate to start out by missing the first meeting, which I must, but I'm interested in what's to be said. Are there any "minutes" ever posted for those who can't make the meeting? Hopefully that's not such a dumb question that everyone votes me off the island. :)
