“ Casey, good running shoes are the backbone of any sort of running; they can carry you through a marathon or break you down in less than 3 miles. Skip the sporting good stores in Southpark and go to Run for Your Life or Charlotte Running Company (both in Dilworth area) and get tested (running gait) and fitted for the right shoes. Most decent shoes for running will cost you $90+ retail. Good buys can sometimes be found at sporting good stores or online but you need to know the right show first. ”
