  “ I saw your shou about breaking your piston skirt. Bummer. I had the exact same bike that I sold about 1.5 years ago. I would drain the coolant, take the head off, remove the cylinder & take a peak in the crankcase. You never know you might get lucky. You'll have to see if you cylinder is damaged; this is the biggest problem. To break piston skirt, it sounds like someone may have put it in backwards; they are directional. Have you ever top ended a bike? It isn't that hard & not that expensive. ”
