  Hi there, I don't know if you ever make it up to Asheville, but we have a small calligraphy guild that meets once per month. We're only about an hour away and we actually have some really great and well known people and can help you find ways to learn, study and practice just about anything you want regarding calligraphy.   Hi Roy... I am a calligrapher in Austin and already have an active guild with over a hundred members. I have posted my "interest" on the meetup page with my email for people to contact me, but no one has emailed me directly! Could you tell me how you went about recruiting people to your meetup!? I don't want to fund the entire thing and would like to discuss with other interested folks beforehand. Thanks, Trish
