Heard you were looking for a midwife, have you considered unassisted birth? I have been through it and can be a good source of information if you become interested. I can tell you first hand it is the safest and most painfree options!

Welcome! I'm new to this group too. I've been waiting for a get together or playdate to come up. Most things except the drum circle I think are for babies.
I also seen you are looking for a midwife in the area. There's Christina Holmes and Kathy Mattews that I know of. I had a midwife who did both hospital and home but she's no longer in the area. Oh and there's Harmony Miller too.
