  “ Sorry Liz, I won't be able to make the Iris Shoot. I have an old friend and former colleague coming in from Japan to see me. We are taking my Land Rover on a two week trip to the Southwest. We will go to many of the national parks and monuments. We will go via 395, which I really love, to see the area from Bridgeport to Lone Pine and then through Death Valley. I should get some good shots. Taking all the camera stuff. My wife Corina will stay home. See you in June, or late may.

  You are the only other member that I see from Auburn. I just went to my first meeting of the Placer Camera Club last Tuesday the 15th. I also do some hiking with some local groups from Nevada City to Georgetown. This offers some photo ops. If you want to talk about these things you can phone me at 269-2513.
