“ Steve-Keuka was hot and humid! 94 degrees. Getting to the race the day before added to the tension of trying to qualify for the Nationals. Amanda volunteered and was at the finish line handing out water when I came in. Soon after I looked at the results. My goal was to come in 5th and quarantee qualification. I came in 6th and counted 14 in my age group. It wasn't until Monday night, when I checked the fianl results, that I saw that there were actually 23 in my age group and I qualified. ”
