Hi Robert, I have not uploaded any photo's apart from my own ID, noticed that I was made a sponsor, not sure how or who did that, I just joined the group and found a meetup suggested at the HK Brew House without a date.
Thanks for your message, Rob. It would be great to gather people who want to do documentary films! I'm very glad you and a few others are interested!
Dear Robert, Thank you for the compliments regarding my photos on Flickr and the invitation for the 29th, unfortunately my parents are arriving that weekend to visit and so I will be unable to attend. Hopefully I can make the next meeting. Cheers,
Two people working in sync can often do the work of 3, I find booze brings out the best banter that you can pick the besst out of later in a quieter setting if you can remember it. When people are relaxed we tend to blurt out our own likes or fantasies as throw away comments.
Often there are gems flowing by the 5th drink between laughter.
Send me the synopsis when you have time mate.
I've lost count of how many drafts I've done of my HK screenplay and it's still not finished due to having to write for ease of shooting and for the fastest possible time beacuase of no backer as indies are known for.
It's really a challenge to do this and some lonely days and nights at the keyboard. I'm a 2 finger typist myself, but that makes you read and reread the lines and you find many mistakes when acting it out and seeing it in you head onscreen.
It's like a re run of a dream.
I pull a lot of memories from films I like also and somehow they end up in text in an abstract or revamped way, so many ideas and so little time and money to make the dreams real.
Thanks for your the introduction,
I look forward to meeting you and other members of the group.
Thanks for organizing..
