  “ Pull up a 1yr or 6 month chart on ANF. It was continually making "lower highs". It looked 'toppy' to me and I got a good fill @ 80.17. No one ever "knows" to enter a trade. Don't predict, react. I've never read a swing trading book, sorry I cant recommend any. All I do is short at resistance levels where 2% is enough breathing room. A lot of traders use 5% stops but I watch intraday so I shoot for a better fill. ”

  “ Nothing wrong with a short there, however a realistic gain looks to be just under 5% at $80 if you get in now... plus your stop would have to be around 5%. In future, look for a bit tighter stop and a little more gain potential. My only trade this week was a short on ANF... again I risked 2% on the short and took profits Friday at 9.22%. I have volume, dividend dates, splits and earnings dates on them, thats all. If you're shorting during a dividend date, YOU have to pay it. ”
