“ A fine group with much talent and energy which might do better within a more defined and organized structure -- e.g., a clear division of tasks with a chosen director for each group. A formal "group" would be limited in size, with informal intra-group exchanges of information and assistance encouraged whenever relevant. Such specific "tasks" as voter-registration, publicity, recruitment, etc. would be assigned to a specific group. Merely the addition of participants within the general organization without any definite role or place would only add confusion. What is needed seems to be the development of an "organization chart". Without organization, there can only be shared feelings and thoughts, but no effective and practical action. Specific roles must be assigned. Enthusiasm is no substitute for discipline when it comes to effective action. ”
