  Hi Mark- Friend of mine (from another biking group) posted his this morning (as they were thinking of going to Palm canyon next Wed). Not sure if this is relevant for your planned ride or not -- "Palm Canyon is unridable in the middle section where you cross a creek. I heard from two people that the creek is now a 4 feet deep raging river (unpassable)."
