“ Ingrid- my perspective on reproductive freedom won't be much different from the rest of the group's. Why should it? Because I'm a guy? (a smirk on my face here). I don't know how to address the rest of the group, but in the new Nation (5/19/08) there's an article by Betsy Reed entitled "Race To The Bottom: How Hillary Clinton's Campaign Has Divided the Feminist Movement." I haven't read it yet. The Nation is VERY left of center. I can photocopy the article if you want. See ya! ”

“ It sounds great, but I can't do it. My problem with the meetings on most of these meetup groups is that I'm a single parent and can only schedule "me" time when my son is away with his dad every-other. This weekend he'll be with me, but even on the "me" weekends there are only so many hours in which to do things.. Hopefully this summer during the long summer break while he's with his dad, I can attend some feminist meetups. ”
