I've gone to 1 meetup for each of these groups:
* 20ish & 30ish Boston Book Club [My favorite so far, but it could be because of the topic: Eat Pray Love - did you read it?]* Boston Girls with Moxie! [great group of girls, but I wouldn't recommend going to a dinner which is what I did with them]
*Speed dating with feedback for the men
[for curiosity's sake - had a great time but not something I'd do again]* The Boston Happy Hour Group

I work two retail jobs and am slowly trying to create a writing portfolio. What do you do for work?
BTW, both meetups were terrific! Any groups you can recommend? -
Finally squeezing in some meetups this week - my schedule is crazy but really want to meet more people in my area so I'm trying to get to a happy hour and a book group both in the same night. Wish me luck getting everywhere on time! : )
