  Bob, I agree ! That was a marvelous and scenic hike this morning (the hiking trail itself is really awesome, along with the little side trails you led us on). And, again, I do thank you for the detailed information, the historical facts, background, and the general and present day knowledge of the area we hiked in today ! And, Leanne's photos of the hike do capture the unique surroundings of our awesome hiking experience this A.M. - Looking forward to do things like this again ! Teresa

  Looking forward to this specific hike, as I believe that I found the entrance to the park shortly before my move/reloaction to San Luis Obispo for 5 months and 5 years, but (unfortunately) there was no one with me to hike that trail with me then, so I'll be happy to see you and the other hikers there this upcoming Sunday.

  Hello Bob. I got your e-mail, and look forward to seeing you at next Saturday's meeting. My address is 747 Ensenada Ct. in South Mission Beach. I was going to backpack from Lake Morena to Mt. Laguna after the PCT kickoff event at the end of April with another hiker. This might be a good opportunity for you to get into backpacking.
