Hi , i just wanted to offer some info. Many are still not aware of Meetup.com and so you will probably find more groups relating to homeschooling on yahoo. I belong to several. There are also state and national homeschooling organizations that can provide info on local contacts and the variety of ways you can go about your educational adventure. Google, CHN, HSC, and homeschooling California for a start. I hope this helps , Michelle
