Hi my name is Di and I am currently enrolled in interpreting classes for ASL. Sure would like to meet someone with fluency in ASL to practice with. The area I am from is Manassas.

    Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. To answer your question, I'm no longer in school for ASL or interpreting. I graduated from the NVCC program back in 03.
    I never planned to be an interpreter, but it's where I ended up....I'd always planned to teach Deaf/HoH kids, but after 4 years in the classroom, I've had enough. I'm getting my MA in school counseling now, and hope to work in a private school close to home.
    Looking forward to the next event! ”
