  Thanks Gretchen! I look forward to meeting you and swapping stories of getting oriented in Bend (although it's been pretty easy so far). I was a snowcamping and peak climbing section leader in the Bay Area, so I'll be interested in getting involved again once I'm a bit settled.

  Hey thanks Gretchen. I've seen a number of meetups for this group, but don't know who all generates the topic. There were a number of meetups to build bee hives. SInce I live in the forest, I'm interested in building bat houses... (plus hikes, talks, etc...)
