I showed up, stood on my chair and said - "Hello, my name is Blaine and I'm single" Surprisingly enough - I was surrounded by other very interesting people with the same affliction. We bonded, laughed, danced and continue to make plans to get together through these meet-ups. We can't wait to meet you and I promise to offer you my chair to stand on for that first, very scary profession of your singleness. It's a full 12-step program for recovery, so you'll have to keep coming out with us. Or, you could stay home and be bored. ”
