    “ I went into the event thinking that the format (bluegrass/Oldtime) would be so rigid that participating in any of the Jams would be tough going.....but I was pleasantly surprised; jam circles kind of spontaneously formed and who ever was in the given circle had an opportunity to pick a song they wanted to do (some bluegrass/oldtime/country/pop). It seemed that all members of the group were very supportive and the emphasis was on having a good time....nothing to serious. ”
