My new camera arrived yesterday - a high speed SLR camera ordered specifically so that I can get great cycling photos : ) I'm very excited to learn how it all works. ”

“ Driving and camping is a cool way to do it. I am actually doing that for this summer's TDF. If you have a car (I'm renting one this year), everyone basically "tailgates" and camps up the side of the road on all the mountain climbs... quite the festivities. I have a GREAT pic of Oscar Freire in the Rabbobank car from last TDF at Prato Nevosa, Italy - very close up, and he signed a hat for me! Working with a team is a very cool way to see a lot of great things. I hope it works out for you. ”

“ Thanks for the greetings, and I am sure I will love Solvang. I am actually a HUGE cycling fan, have been riding for years, have gone to TDF 4 times, and was an official with USACycling. I love the machines. I'm flying to Sacramento on the 14th for the Prologue, staying in Winters, CA that night to catch the first sprint on Stage 1, going to the TT, Pasadena, and Escondido. I am so excited - it's really nice to meet others that enjoy it as much as I do. ”
