I'm interested in living in community, growing much of our food like, in urban areas converting blight into light, conserving the countryside for watershed and wilderness with the help of reverse pioneers and homesteaders.

    Thank you for the welcome. I have just relocated to DC & was delighted to discover your group. I have been involved in practicing/teaching Permaculture as a way to increase home self-reliance. I hope to attend your next meeting.

  •  Thanks Larry! We have found that finding a one-stop resource for green events is pretty difficult. I'm glad to be able to provide this service. Hopefully this will help attracting more people to good causes.

  •  Hi Larry, thanks for the welcome. It looks like this group is doing some worthwhile work to which I'd like to contribute. Am sorting out my goals right now so I may not be able to attend meetings for a while, but I will definitely come when I can.
