  •  Hi Kenny,
    I 've spent 30 yrs. exploring the various ways to decrease anxiety & fear and increase happiness . I see the practices of mindfulness and chi-kung to be scientific. Chan( Zen) and Theravada Buddhism are often practiced in accord with strict Asian cultural trappings. I discovered that the zazen posture, Asian mantras could impede the practices of modern American Zen. The individual can choose to keep certain traditions,realizing they are window dressings.
