I like the Denver Area Socializing Introverts because, no matter what the activity, everyone is non-judgemental. We just have fun without worrying if someone acts different.
Thanks for sponsoring, Sharon!
I RSVPd for Thursday forgetting that I have friends coming in from out of state that night ... sorry. I was looking forward to it too much, I guess, and missed my other "RSVP"!
A question for you, though. I have explained a bit about my son on my profile page. Do you think this is an appropriate group for him?
Hi Sharon, How do I find out about groups meeting in my area? I've just joined and don't know how to navigate the site. Jay
Good morning "Sharon. Is the meeting still on since we only have Ross and me?
Welcome to the group, Sharon! I look forward to meeting you and seeing some of your writing.
Hi Sharon. I was one who agreed to come tonight. However, the sore throat I have had for several days is worse and it is snowing hard in Evergreen! I think I had better stay home. Sorry, maybe next time.
Hi Sharon! I appreciate the greeting! I was on vacation with my family the past month (since I lost my job, I have a lot of free time). I would be up for meetings, I am just having a hard enough time getting money to eat regularily, let alone other expenses. But I'm definitely interested in this meetup group. If I end up finding a job soon, I won't have a problem with paying a small fee for meetings, but for the time being...
Hi Sharon! I just identified myself as gifted a few months ago. My biggest challenge right now (and for the last decade) is deciding on a career path. Whereas before I wrote myself off as "crazy" or "high-strung" I know now that the issues I have are common with gifted adults. I want to do everything, I'm adverse to risk-taking, I learn fast but am easily bored, I'm not open about my giftedness and mask myself... this is the nice bundle of issues I'm trying to tackle!
