So glad you'll be able to join us. As far as stress is concerned, it's not only that the actual meditation practice itself is calming, but the practice naturally influences a gradual but inevitable shift in attitude and orientation during daily life that allows whatever arises to feel less stressful. At least that's what I and many others have found.
Less experience of stress = more experience of joy.
