  • This Month's Talk: "Stupid Bash Tricks"

You've probably read about the new Bash shell included with Windows 10 Anniversary Update, but what do you know about it? In this talk, we'll show you how to enable Bash on Windows 10, we'll explain what it can and can't do, and we'll demonstrate some practical examples that you can use for your .NET work.

    Speaker: Jeffrey Scarpace

Jeff is a 25+ year veteran in the field of Information Technology and has worked with organizations from large to small and for-profit to non-profit. He has written software that shipped and installed as part of Microsoft Office and Microsoft PowerPoint. Currently, Jeff is one of the leaders of the Memphis .NET User Group. When he's not at a keyboard, Jeff enjoys tinkering with home audio/video and is an avid boxing fan.

Also at this meeting, we will be selecting a new meeting day and/or location for the group. Please come if you can.

As usual, pizza will be served about 6:00 PM and the meeting will start at 6:30 PM. If you plan to attend, please RSVP so we know how much pizza to get, and who to contact if there are any changes that need to be communicated.

If needed, the door and elevator code will be 1242#.
