I've dabbled in Java for a few years now. In my day job I work mainly in a older version of ColdFusion for front end work and have to use Java when I need something that CF is lacking.
I've played with android development some and I've made some really simple apps using the API and I have also tried Appcelerator for a bit.

Do you know about ask jdk and eclipse?
Do u mind showing me the basics. Im a hands on type of person
Well, at the very least you can start working through the examples at http://developer.andr... to get the basics down. Everything you need to get started is there. If you get stumped with a example feel free to bring it to the group and maybe we can all learn something :-)
I learn hands on
I am interested in networking with professional developers and sharpening my coding acumen.
