Men's Chant, Men Sing, with Doug Von Koss

  • Jan 6, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Open to all men of good will who love to sing. Ability to sing or read music is not an issue in our perfection free zone…nor is age, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

It will be an evening of song, chant, with a bit of poetry and group movement, midway through we'll break for tea and cookies.

The Finnish Brotherhood Hall Chestnut and University is about a 15 minute walk from the North Berkeley BART station.

In addition to meetup's RSVP count, they're usually 10 -16 regular attendees.

6.00 donation requested, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

I have been called a gifted artist, teacher and performer. I guess that’s mostly true. I prefer to say I am a carrier of artistic medicine in words and sounds. I work in the wise fool tradition so that means I take what I do very seriously, but I don’t take myself seriously at all. - Doug

I got there for the start, but was told it was a singing group. Were I to sing, everyone would run from the room. Thank for the opportunity. The group reviews indicate that the effort meaningful to many. Don
