March WordPress Meetup

Update: We will meet at Goldfish Tea in Royal Oak. Thanks for sending in suggestions! Trevor and Tim will be talking about the site they've worked on together, including template customization and functionalities developed for the site. Don't forget to check out the new WordCamp Detroit web site, done by Anthony! Registration is open and we are also looking for sponsors and speakers.

Thanks all for coming! I was glad to see many new people and of course the regulars. I'm working on the location situation Todd mentioned. Wish me luck for next month! I posted my notes with links to things discussed.

It was good. I appreciated the material discussed, as well as the friendliness of the people in the group (my first time). Looking forward to the next one.

It was a bit difficult to hear people during some of the meeting. The background noise wasn't too bad, but the arrangement of seating was a bit difficult. Also, we really need to find a venue that allows for a screen and projector to better share information.

The networking and open discussion were good. I missed meeting a few people, and I hope to change that at a future meeting.

I thought that the MeetUp was very good. I learned a lot and met some great people. Trevor showed me a helpful internet feature and I am so thankful that I took the time to come. I will definitely come again.

Excited. I just launched an event promotions site using WP as the content manager. I cannot wait to share the progress.
