Visual Collaboration with Scrum and Microsoft TFS

  • Jun 11, 2013 · 6:30 PM

The transition to agility is difficult despite the fact that agile frameworks such as Scrum are simple and can be summarized in a few words. Behind this apparent simplicity hides several challenges difficult to foresee for novices. One of the main challenges is collaboration not only between team members but also with external stakeholders. Visual aids such as 'Task Board' can help meet this challenge. In this session we will present a wide range of visual aids that promote collaboration. Come discover why visual collaboration is essential for mastering agility. Come and give a boost to your agile transition.

Mario Cardinal is a software architect and agile coach. He is the author of the book “Agile Specifications with Scrum” to be published during winter 2013 by Addison Wesley. He is known as someone who can extract the essence of a complicated situation, sort out the core ideas from the incidental distractions, and provide a summary easy to understand. He is a Visual Studio ALM MVP always willing to share its experience to helping others realize their potential.
