I can talk about the dotenv gem (https://github.com/bkeepers/dotenv) and how I configure apps.

I just hacked together a super basic mobile site setup on an existing Sinatra-based marketing site for an HVAC company. I'm not especially experienced or talented, but it was kind of an interesting and basic experience for me that I'd be willing to share, if you need more content, and maybe people will have some good feedback from their experience on how it should have been done properly.
I've never been to one of these events and am new in town, but happy to make the commitment to show up and share something.

If we're desperate for speakers, I can give a semi-coherent regurgitation of the layered application architecture principles from P of EAA as it pertains to Rails.

Ok. We're still looking for a few speakers, so if you can, that'd be great.

No problem. I'll plan on it.
