Single Page Applications in Ruby

Sometimes, all you need is one page. We'll talk about the different ways to do one-page applications in Ruby, best practices, examples and more.

Speaker lineup:

Here are the two projects I demoed:

If you're new to building single page apps, I would encourage you to clone the repos, get them running on your machine, and poke around with them a little. Hit me up if you have any questions or need help getting started.

+1 to *really* like some insight on state-of-the-art and best practices into TDD/BDD of such client-heavy apps.

    Thanks for organizing, Adam!

(I like all the topics, but I vote for this if we can get a little deeper into the gotchas, like how to avoid rewriting too much model code, how to divide the testing (and test fixtures), trade-offs between backbone.js and contenders. I know others in the group have experimented with options and found non-obvious walls to bump into.)
