Surfing off Virginia Key!

There's a high at Bear Cut at 5AM Sunday morning and a low at 11:28AM. Wind is out of the NE at around 10 which COULD make for some decent waves. I'm going to give it a try. I figure to launch at MAST Beach at 8:15AM sharp. If you want to come along you must be able to self-rescue and have all appropriate safety gear which includes PFD and spare paddle. Come on along if you're of a mind. I figure to be out for 4 or 5 hours and following the surfing do a go-around of Virginia Key ending up at the launch spot. My cell is[masked] if you have questions

On the right tide with the right wind there are sometimes very good waves. I've surfed them at 6-7 feet in late winter.
