"Beat Cancer with a Paddle" Party with the Castaways Against Cancer

The Castaways Against Cancer is hosting its second-annual "Beat Cancer with a Paddle" Party at Whiskey Joe's on Key Biscayne.  There will be a DJ (Noon-4), a Live Band (4-9), Drink Specials and giveways all day. We're raffling bottles of liquor (a big hit last year), along with free bar tabs, parasailing, and tons of Castaways and Whiskey Joe's schwag. There will be a silent auction with FL Keys Hotel Stays, A Swim with the Dolphins encounter, Mexican Moonshine Tequila, Kayak Gear, local restaurant and business freebies, and much, much more.  See the attached flyer for more information.

There will be drink and food specials for our kayaking friends. Just tell a member of the Castaways that you're with the meetup.com group, and you'll get a bracelet good for discounts on food and drinks.

You can come out early with your kayak/sup and explore the calm backwaters of Virginia Key, or circumnavigate the island, then come back to Whiskey Joe's for the party.

The Castaways Against Cancer are a group of kayakers who paddle from Miami to Key West (160 miles over 7 days) to fight back against cancer. Now launching our 15th annual adventure, we have surpassed $500,000 raised to fight cancer!! We couldn't do it without your support. Last year we had a great turnout, and a GREAT time! We hope you'll join us.

Thanks to all who came out to support the Castaways Against Cancer's "Beat Cancer with a Paddle" party. Special thanks to The Paddle House for huge support, including the kayak rental donations, lending a brand new Stellar 15 sea kayak for display, and tons of advice and friendship. Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
