Kayaking alone is not enough! That's right, I said it. We have to pay attention to other parts of the body while we build our paddling form. Join Wayne and me for evening workouts once a week on Monday (mostly on Mondays).
These are group outings focused on building cardiovascular endurance, muscle memory for paddling related movement and strength training. Be prepared to work up a sweat.
Present fitness level is irrelevant. The fitness trail at Kennedy Park is very diverse. Your workout can be as light or as strenuous as you deem appropriate. You are encouraged to bring band, weights or straps for suspension training.
As we develop the program we will bring in fitness professionals to help reach our goals. There is no time like today to get started on the road to a healthier you. Bring something to drink, sneakers, workout clothes and let's get fit together.
Parking is free at Shake-A-Leg Miami, with validation, so no excuses. Let's do it!
