Tuesday Night Gaming - at Rock Game Shop

Our weekly meetup for Tuesday night!

www.rockgameshop.com

The Rock Game Shop (formerly known as Outland Station) is pretty easy to find - it's a bit off of exit 20 on the turnpike.  Just look for a Feed store - it's right next to it - very close to a large shopping center that includes a Winn-Dixie, a hobby store, and a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut.  You can walk to the CiCi's pizza right next door.

They have drinks and snacks for sale, some games - and a lot of open gaming space.  They are open to 11 PM, which is plenty of time, and have stayed open later in the past.

We have a lot of fun - many folks have been showing up - feel free to come even if you've never played a game in your life!  Just go to the back of the store and tell us you are here to play, and we'll hook you up.

Don't worry about games - I'll bring plenty, and others will bring games to.  I hope to see you there!

I have been curious about the Commands and Colors war gaming "system"/series (which I believe includes Memoir '44, which was given to me last year but I haven't had a chance to play). I am also curious about Combat Commander.

Is anyone out there a fan of one of these (or both of these) games/lines? I'd like to learn them and give them a whirl.

If anyone is interested in teaching one of them to me on one of our gaming evenings or days, drop me a line. We could even have a thematic gaming day if there is a critical number of people!

I got the impression that Memoir '44 is a lighter game than the other Commands and Colors series games. I am happy to play a more complex game as well! Yes, it would be great to set up a game sometime soon.
