I love suspense, and "who done it?" kind of books because I enjoy a challenge and trying to figure out the plot of the story. Additionally, though, I have to say that I really enjoy reading an author that writes so well that the words flow easily and beautifully, and you are made to feel that you are right in the midst of the actual story.
As I said... I love to read. But more, importantly, I want to be able to discuss the good and bad parts of the book with others, and hear perspectives and opinions that I myself would not have considered. I also want to take advantage of the knowledge that other persons may have regarding good books to read.

I love to read, and am willing to try just about any genre. More importantly, I love to be able to discuss a book with others who have read it, and get their unique perspectives.
I really enjoy going to the book club meetings and discussing books read and liked...and books read and disliked! I love to hear what others have to say about a book that I've read and hearing a completely different impression or spin on the same book. I believe that the ladies that participate are intelligent and engaging, and it's nice to participate with persons that you may not possibly have otherwise met.
