At this moment it ocurred to me that I liked very much The Corrections, by Jonathan Franzen. Maybe it could be appropriate, with many different settings and visually interesting characters.
I like books about people, about other people living in other countries, classic literature and some detective novels. I like Zadie Smith, Sara Paretsky, sometimes Ian McEwan, I liked the novels of Vikram Seth and Arundhati Roy.
I'm new in Miami, I don't know many people here (only two persons), and I like reading. Maybe I can met people and speak with them and keep reading. I also want to improve my English, I read a lot in English, but I don't know if I can speak so much!
I moved two months ago, I'm working here for a year.
The Brutal Art, by Jesse Kellermann, and Mansfield Park, by Jane Austen.
I like reading books, sometimes people have better ideas and I'd never read books they suggest. And listening to other people comments about books I read.
I dindn't see anybody of the group, sorry (was a little bit on the verge of the time).
