Greetings! I'm new here.
What is your favorite book to moive adaptation?
That's a toughie... Atonement, perhaps.
What is your favorite book genre / type of book to read?
I always say I like to read 'smart fiction.' Lately I've been keeping up with well-reviewed, recently released popular fiction, but I was an English major in college so sometimes I'll read (or reread) a classic twentieth century novel.
Why did you decide to join a bookclub?
Whenever I finish I book, I wish I had someone to talk about it with! I also love meeting new people and enjoy spending time with smart, booky people.
Are you a Miami/Florida native or new to town? If you are new, what made you move here?
New to town. Moved to the Coral Gables area from Cleveland, Ohio last August. My boyfriend was placed here through the Teach for America program and we made the move together. He teaches English at North Miami Sr High and I'm a marketing coordinator for a department at FIU.
What's the last book you read cover to cover?
Just finished 'The Rules of Cilivity' by Amor Towles.
