Think book clubs are for Oprah or old ladies who knit and stockpile hard candies, not for moderm women like you and your friends? Not so fast! This is a book club for die-hard bookworms; women who love to relax, sit back and enjoy the company of a good book.
Who should join? Women ages 20-?, married or single, parenting or childless. The only requirement is an avid interest in books and a desire to meet like-minded women in a laid back environment.
We have two book discussion meetings per month: one in the South (Coconut Grove/Coral Gables) the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00p.m. and one in the North (Mimo Historic District/Upper East Side) the first Saturday at 1:00p.m. We also meet of every few weeks for a casual get-together. Book choices are almost always fiction, classics, every once in a while non-fiction and all choices are determined by voting of club members four times a year..
Please email us with any questions. We look forward to meeting you all soon!
