What is your favorite book to moive adaptation?

I thought Gatsby was interesting. Life of Pi was well done. The Harry Potter film series was fairly true to the original. I rarely feel that movie adaptations do justice to the book.

What is your favorite book genre / type of book to read?

I read everything. I'll read the cereal box if there isn't anything else.

Why did you decide to join a bookclub?

My husband thought I needed friends, outside of books and virtual book clubs/social networking sites. I agree and decided to reach out. I'm nervous about social situations but get me talking about things I love and I can overcome most situations.

Are you a Miami/Florida native or new to town? If you are new, what made you move here?

Originally born and raised here, but left for college, got married and we moved back about 3 years ago so my husband could attend Law School (UM)

What's the last book you read cover to cover?

Dannika Dark's Maegeri series, To Wed in Scandal by Liana LeFey (for review).

I'm 33, mother of 1. I suffer from abibliophobia- the fear of running out of things to read. Introvert whose extrovert tendencies only come out when discussing books.
