How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Like RSpec - Miami Ruby Brigade

  • Sep 15, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

RSpec is an incredibly opinionated testing tool. It's popular and polarizing. Bryce Kerley, once a big-time RSpec hater, will be talking about how he came to grips with how RSpec works, how to work with RSpec, and how to prefer it for new projects.

RSpec usage, starting new projects with RSpec, and daily life with RSpec will be discussed.

If you're new to Ruby, or even new to programming, this will be a good introduction to test-driven development. If you're experienced with Ruby, or even RSpec, you might enjoy my opinions. If you're an RSpec hater, we think you'll enjoy it too!
