10:00 to 15:45 approx, from Earls Hill Nature Reserve Carpark, off A488 near Pontesford
Glorious off-road countryside walk along the Marches Way and in the rolling and lesser known Shropshire Hills with splendid views and a mid-distance pub-stop.
The Pontesbury Hills include Earls Hill, Pontesford Hill, Lawn Hill, Broom Hill and Pontesbury Hill itself. We will visit the first four of them, but only one fairly steep climb. Possible short cut if weather dictates.
The car-park is rather small, so get there in plenty of time, and prepare to block eachother in! Proper walking boots and walking gear strongly advised.
