Village folk and mawwal, Andalusian, Kadhem es-Saher, Sayyed Darwish and later 20th C. classics Umm Kalthoum, Farid el-Atrash, Rahbani/Fairuz, Wadiia es-Safi.

Have been speaking, reading, writing and singing Arabic for 45 years and still like it. Am first day (January 2000) original member of Aswat the SF Arabic community choir, help by coaching the non Arabophonic members.
