What Anwar K. is saying about this Meetup Group

Great. Now back to concert: We had a classy intro and Welcome by Ossama Hassanein, There were many highlights, that warranted standing ovations. I would run out of space to write about all of it in this box. I will mention two before I run out of characters: 1. The participation of about a dozen youth was very moving. 2. A twist – Special Guest David Rovics www.davidrovics.com sang The story of the Palestinian struggle to Guitar sung to folk American country music style. Aswat will make anyone who loves Middle East Music very proud, no matter what Arabic country they are from. Aswat – Zawaya is a non profit, started a youth program in 2009 and teaches music and Dance to its community and deserves our support. Do not miss out on future events. www.zawaya.org
