Drupal Presentation Blitz

Our next Michigan Drupal meetup will be held in conjunction with the Metro Detroit Drupal User Group and Lawrence Tech's Media Communication and Math & Computer Science Departments!

We're going to have up to 3 hours for 15 minute presentations from any and all of you interested in sharing cool things you've been doing with Drupal.  If you would like to present, let me know via email ([masked]) and I'll add you to the list.  We'll have the use of a projector and a space that can hold at least 40 people!

15-Minute Drupal Presentations

Alex Fisher - Basics of using Drush / Moving your Drupal site quickly

Jeff Heng - Demo of a 'Flash Sale' site with Drupal

Brad Czerniak - Responsive Theming

Scott Tobias - TBD

This event is being held at Lawrence Tech courtesy of the efforts of Scott Tobias and sponsored by the Media Communication and Math & Computer Science departments

Although much of the conversation was over my head, people were willing to explain things in a patient way. I'll be attending the next Meet-up in Plymouth.

It was a nice meeting and I learned quite a few things about Drupal. I liked learning about Mobile Browsing, and Drupal Gardens. The shopping cart flash sale project was also very ambitious and interesting. I prize my new Michigan Drupal sticker too.

Very interesting, I just wanted to learn more about what you could do with Drupal it helped give me a good taste. The Drupal Gardens part was good, I had seen references to it but really didn't understand what it was about.
