Group Charter

The Mile High Transgendered Group is primarily for those who identify as being transgendered.  You are welcome whether you identify as a Crossdresser, FTM or MTF Transsexual.  This group is moderated to ensure the safety of all of  us, but care should be taken to remember that some may use that information to cause trouble.  We do not open the group to single men unless sponsored by a group member.   You can sponsor an SO or family member into the group by simply contacting me directly.

This is a social group designed to assist each of us to meet others with similar needs and interests.  We are not a dating site nor  do we provide meetups for that purpose.  If you find someone, that’s great, but it is not the reason we get together.

As a meetup group you are encouraged to join us in as many meetups as you feel comfortable with.  Sometimes these meetups are in mainstream venues while others are in more private settings.  We encourage everyone to participate in our meetups according to your comfort level. 

Overall Philosophy of the Group (in random order)

·         Meet and gather together to celebrate our femininity or masculinity for FTM’s.

·         Provide Resources for those needing help with gender identity or gender expression.

·         No Labels – We don’t care how you label yourself as labels only serve to limit us.  We are only interested in who you are and won’t judge you for it.

·         We want to set a positive example as we go out into the world so that we may enable a change in attitudes over time.  So always show love and respect for others.

·         We do not distinguish between the genders.  We use the terms “Girls, women, ladies” for those presenting as a woman.  Likewise FTM’s are men to us.  We acknowledge the gender expressed by the individual.
